On September 4th, 2022, 'NEST' premiered at ‘festival de Oversteek’ in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. The performance is mostly created by the special location where the performance took place. The audience is witness, from a small beach, of the greatest and most emotional meeting of two birds on the water. The two abandoned and lonely souls with only their boat left, find each other after a huge fall from the sky. They offer each other comfort, adventure, security, and have found what they unconsciously longed for all along; each other. They decide to share their life with each other without agreeing, as true soul mates do. Once ashore, the birds are 'among the people' again and feel the need to adapt, to participate in whatever everyone else is doing.
